Welcome to Dharma Sabha — Our Sacred Community! 🙏
Namaste dear seekers! I created DharmaChat to make the wisdom of our scriptures accessible to everyone. This community is our Dharma Sabha — a space to ask questions, share shlokas, and grow together on the dharmic path. What question about dharma has been on your mind lately?
वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् — The entire world is one family. Welcome, all seekers!
Krishna says "do your duty without attachment to results" — but how do we stay motivated?
I've been reflecting on Gita 2.47 — karma without attachment to fruits. But in practical life, results matter — promotions, success, family wellbeing. How do you balance this teaching with real-world motivation?
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन — Bhagavad Gita 2.47
What can modern families learn from the bond between Rama and Bharata?
Bharata refused to sit on the throne even when Rama was exiled. He placed Rama's padukas (sandals) on the throne and ruled as a regent. In a world where siblings fight over property and inheritance, this story moves me deeply. What does this teach us about family dharma?
The Mandukya Upanishad and the 4 states of consciousness — AUM explained
The Mandukya is the shortest but perhaps the most profound Upanishad. It explains the 4 states: Jagrat (waking), Svapna (dreaming), Sushupti (deep sleep), and Turiya (pure consciousness). AUM represents all four. Has anyone explored this deeply?
ॐ इत्येतदक्षरमिदं सर्वम् — AUM, this syllable is all this. — Mandukya Upanishad 1.1
